NAME

ephcom_headcmp - print and compare (in an "od"-like side by side printout) two binary ephemeris headers.  

SYNOPSIS

ephcom_headcmp ephemeris1 ephemeris2 [output-file]


 

DESCRIPTION

Reads two binary ephemeris headers and compares them. Should only be used to compare ephemeris files generated by the utilities in the ephcom package with binary ephemeris files from JPL.

ephemeris1
the first binary ephemeris input file.
ephemeris2
the second binary ephemeris input file.
output-file
optional output file for side-by-side comparison of the two header files, printed as ASCII strings, 32-bit integers, or double precision floats, as appropriate. If omitted or if output-file is "-", output is written to stdout.
